  Kısa süre önce eski eşi Amber Heard’le aralarındaki davayla gündeme gelen 57 yaşındaki yıldız yeni filmde cıva zehirlenmesinin etkilerini belgelemek için 1970’lı yıllarda Japonya’ya giden savaş fotoğrafçısı Eugene Smith’i canlandıracak. Ünlü fotoğrafçının hayatının bir kesitini konu alacak filmde Depp, kostüm ve makyajlarla yine tanınmayacak biçimde görünüyor.
